Bartlett Meadows is located in the Panhandle of Florida, just a few miles from the Gulf of Mexico. We specialize in raising and breeding rare breed chickens. We continue to collect some of the finest examples of rare-breed poultry available. Birchen, Black, Cuckoo and Golden Cuckoo Marans are currently available. Bantam Black Copper Marans as well as other feather colored sports will be available next year. This is a labor of love for us, and not just a money making enterprise.

Bartlett Meadows currently grows fresh, unusual and standard cut flowers for Florists in and around Pensacola Florida. Our attention to detail and great care in delivering the "Farm Freshest to You", locally grown specialty cut flowers, sets us apart. Our flowers last longer and retain their natural fragrances. Being locally grown means that flowers are picked as they open rather than in the tight bud stage. Locally grown also means that the varieties that we offer are too fragile to ship long distance, so you will offer varieties that are unavailable to those only using shipped product.

THE BARTLETT MEADOWS PLEDGE
It is our pledge to you that we will always offer and provide the very best of our flock. Chicks hatched will be from the best egg color and egg shapes per breed. Our Dark egg layers should continue to lay dark eggs for you if bred properly. In order to produce dark eggs consistently, you must hatch eggs that are fertilized by roosters hatched from dark eggs as the gene for egg color comes from the roo. Please keep this in mind when breeding from our flock as some extremely knowledgeable breeders have worked for years to get and keep colors deep and true.
You also have our pledge that anything we sell will be pure to breed. We WILL NOT offer mutts as pure bred birds. Do understand that occasionally breeds throw off ‘sports' which can be a good thing but we will not intentionally sell anything in a deceptive fashion. We have God to answer to and take this seriously.
Please be patient with us as we are starting this business and availability will build quickly.
